Printing packaging factory relocation to Spain

D&D Int. Eng. successfully relocated a paper bag/carton, printing packaging factory from Iowa, USA, that included printing machinery, paper bag making & cutting/creasing machinery, plus all ancillary equipment, to Spain.

The main printing machine, a 9 colour, Chambon, web offset printing press, was shipped to our workshop, dismantled, refurbished and modified to facilitate larger print repeat cassettes, (a major redesign feature), a complete electrical control upgrade by our associates CR Solutions, and aesthetical improvements undertaken to the mechanical structure of the machine and print system.

The machine was then transported to Spain, installed and commissioned to produce large format print lamination for cardboard packaging.
